JMK Farms
The two properties that make up the JMK Pastoral Co Pty Ltd are
both located in Central Queensland.
Rivervale is situated at Alton Downs, 40 km north of
Rockhampton. The property is approximately 3500 acres in size
and has a 4 km frontage to the Fitzroy River. Rivervale runs
approximately 500 Brahman cross cows with Santa Gertrudis
bulls.
Durando is situated at St. Lawrence, 160 km north of
Rockhampton. 10400 acres in size the property has the Styx River
as its boundary on the southern side. Running 650 Brahman
cross cows with Brahman and Charolais bulls the property
produces approximately 850 weaners per year, joining the
females and growing out the steers. Durando is currently running
700 steers which are fattened out to bullocks and sold to the
local meatworks.
